Visual Identity: Palemonas

Palemonas Ceramics Factory
Visual identity for culture center

History
Established in 1922 in Kaunas, Lithuania, Palemonas Ceramics Factory has a history that spans over a century. Initially, the company began its journey by producing bricks, tiles, and drainage pipes to meet the construction demands of its time. Today, the factory no longer produces clay bricks, and part of its operations have stopped entirely. Some of the factory's spaces now remain empty and unused, providing an opportunity for potential and beneficial transformations.

Design
The visual identity project is crafted for the culture center, with a focus on promoting artistic and cultural activities while also preserving Lithuania's rich heritage and history. In my design process, I aimed to keep the essence of the original Palemonas factory character while adding modern elements to make sure it remains relevant in today's context.
The distinctive brick pattern, naturally emerging from the exploration of the factory's history, forms a cohesive visual identity seamlessly blending modernity, history, and artistic expression.
